The session with Pokey Lafarge took place in Paris, upstairs in a restaurant in La Bastille. It took me ages to set up, I wasn’t sure of where to shoot. I finally chosed one side of the room, and set two strobes, one right above me, slightly on the right, in a 60×90 softbox, and another one on the left, an octobox just lying on a table (as I had forgotten my second stand…).
Pokey is amazing to shoot : he’s the most courteous guy, and he definitely knows what to do. So he did all the job, this session was really fantastic. I just had to do a little post-processing and color)-grading in Photoshop, and that’s it.
I’m very proud that he chosed these photos as his promo material for his new album.Empty gallery item. Please make sure you have upload image to it or check the short code.
